"The journey back to your own voice is not an arrival, but an unlearning.”

— Rebecca Doyle, Founder

THE QUIET RECOGNITION

You've become very good at carrying a life.

You get things done.

You remember what needs remembering. You think ahead. You notice what other people need. You solve problems before they become problems.

The capable one. The reliable one. The one who’ll work it out.

And most of the time, you do.

But sometimes you’re just so bloody tired.

Tired of carrying so much.

The mental load. The emotional load. The decisions. The remembering. The anticipating. The feeling that there is always something, or someone, requiring something from you.

And perhaps the strangest part is that you can have people you love, good friends, a career, a family, a full life...
and still sometimes feel incredibly alone in the carrying of it.

And still, underneath the noise and everything that needs you, there’s a quieter thought:
Is this how I want the rest of my life to go?

Not because you want to blow everything up.

You just want more of yourself in the life you already have.

  • More trust in your own decisions.

  • More say in what comes next.

  • More of what makes you feel alive.

  • More freedom to choose something even when someone else doesn't understand it.

Not a whole new life.

Just more of you in this one.

THE SANCTUARY

Welcome to HER OWN.

HER OWN is a place to put some of it down.

To stop being the capable one for a minute.

To hear yourself again.

To remember what is yours - what you want, value, know and choose.

And to do that alongside other women who understand that a good life can still be a lot to carry.

You don’t need to arrive with an answer.

You don’t need to have anything figured out.

Come as you are. We’ll start there.

THE GUIDE

Hi, I'm Rebecca.

I’m a facilitator, coach and the woman behind HER OWN.

HER OWN grew from something personal too.

I’ll tell you that story further down.

For now, what matters is what I’ll bring into this space:

The questions. The psychology. The research. The tools. The conversations.

You bring your life.

And let’s start with what might feel different in it.

THE SHIFT

What might start to feel different?

Transformation in HER OWN is subtle, compounding, and deeply sustainable.

01
Trust your own judgement
without polling five other people first.
02
Make a decision
knowing someone else might not like it —and be okay.
03
Set a boundary
without spending the next three days wondering whether you’re a terrible person.
04
Remember what brings you joy
and actually make room for it.
05
Back yourself enough
to finally do something you’ve been talking about for years. Not become a new woman.

"I came to Rebecca completely burned out on managing everyone else’s crisis. Within three months inside HER OWN, my home dynamic completely reorganized itself because I finally stopped stepping in where I wasn’t needed. I got my life back."

THE FOUR PILLARS

The HER OWN Journey

A non-linear, intuitive progression designed to meet you wherever you stand today.

01 1
PILLAR I

Remember Yourself

Hear yourself again. Unearth what got buried beneath everyone else's expectations, deadlines, and emotional weather.

02 2
PILLAR II

Choose Yourself

Trust your own voice enough to give it a say. Learn how to weigh your own needs on the same scale as everyone else's.

03 3
PILLAR III

Love Yourself

Not as a slogan or a candle. As an active relationship — building deep, quiet loyalty to the woman who wakes up in your skin.

04 4
PILLAR IV

Live It

Take all of that into your actual life. Real boundaries, real choices, unapologetic presence in your work, home, and relationships.

THE CORE CURRICULUM

At the heart of HER OWN: The Best Friend Project

Twelve foundational master-modules exploring what happens when you treat yourself with the exact loyalty, empathy, and devotion you reserve for your dearest friend.

01 / REMEMBER YOURSELF
01 How Did I Get Here?

Understand the roles, expectations, experiences and adaptations that have shaped who you’ve learned to be. Not: What’s wrong with me? But: What happened? What did I learn? And what did I make it mean?

02 Remember Her

Reconnect with what you enjoy, want, value, feel and know — the things that light you up, the parts that got quieter, and the things you still instinctively know.

03 Your Heart’s Fingerprint

There is a particular way you move through the world that belongs to you. Your combination of strengths, values, experiences, contradictions, desires, gifts and ways of seeing. We’ll start finding yours.

02 / CHOOSE YOURSELF
04 Whose Voice Is That?

Start separating your voice from the shoulds, beliefs, expectations and perfectionism you’ve absorbed along the way. Some of the things you believe about yourself didn’t begin with you.

05 What Will They Think?

Approval. People-pleasing. Comparison. Belonging. Fear of judgement. What becomes possible when somebody else can disapprove of your choice and you can still choose it?

06 Back Yourself

Explore the psychology and neuroscience of belief, confidence and self-trust and how you build them through evidence, behaviour and action. Not waiting until you feel confident.

03 / LOVE YOURSELF
07 Meet Your Inner Critic

That voice: You’re not good enough. Instead of simply trying to silence her, we’ll understand her. Where did she come from? What activates her? What is she trying to protect?

08 Become Her Best Friend

The heart of the project. What would change if you became someone you could rely on — someone who backs you, tells you the truth, forgives you, encourages you, and celebrates you?

09 Love Is a Verb

Because self-love isn’t something you write in a journal. It’s something you do. The boundaries you hold. The promises you keep to yourself. When you rest, say no, and finally say yes.

04 / LIVE IT
10 Who Am I Choosing to Be?

What stays? What goes? What have you outgrown? What do you want more of? Not: Who am I supposed to become? But: Who am I choosing to be?

11 What Would She Do?

If you genuinely trusted this woman, what would she do? What would she stop doing? Ask for? Try? Wear? Create? What conversation would she finally have?

12 Your Best Friend Project

Choose something. Big or small. Brave or joyful. Start the business, apply for the role, plant the garden, wear the dress, book the ticket. Be on your own side while you do something that matters.

THE RHYTHM

How the Best Friend Project Works

A low-pressure, high-depth cadence designed to fit naturally into an already full schedule.

STEP 01

1. Watch or Listen

A short teaching from me. Watch when you have space, or listen while you’re walking, driving or getting on with life.

STEP 02

2. Reflect

Prompts and a workbook to make the ideas personal. Not homework. Questions worth spending some time with.

STEP 03

3. Live It

Take something from the module into your real life. A decision you make differently. A boundary you hold. The thing you finally say.

STEP 04

4. Bring It In

Ask a question. Share what you’re wrestling with. Celebrate something you did. Hear how another woman is navigating it.Or simply listen until you’re ready.

FREEDOM FROM GUILT

There is no 'behind' here.

And this is important: monthly release does not mean monthly deadline.

If you're looking at 12 modules and thinking, Rebecca, that sounds like quite a lot for a woman you've just told is bloody tired... Fair.

You might watch a teaching straight away and come back to the reflection later. You might spend six weeks with something because it's landed somewhere important. You might have a month where life is full and you barely touch it.

That's not falling behind. That's having a life.

The next module will still arrive. The previous ones will still be there. There is no cohort disappearing over the horizon while you stand there thinking, Shit, I'm behind again.

There is no behind.

The monthly rhythm gives you somewhere to go next. It doesn't tell you how quickly you have to get there.

The Best Friend Project is supposed to help you live your life—not become another thing on your to-do list making you feel guilty.

11.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE.

The Best Friend Project is the journey.

HER OWN is the place you keep living it.

The connection isn’t an extra around the edges of HER OWN. It’s part of the work.

Something changes when women gather without competition, performance or judgement.

When you can say, “I’m tired,” and nobody needs you to make it sound better.

When you can admit, “I don’t know what I want,” without someone rushing to solve it.

When another woman says, “Me too,” and something you’ve been carrying privately suddenly feels less heavy.

Sometimes another woman can see something in us that we’ve stopped being able to see ourselves.

Her story can give language to something you’ve carried for years.

Her courage can remind you of your own.

Her question can make you question something you’ve accepted as truth.

And sometimes, while we’re busy reminding another woman who she is… we remember ourselves too.
12.

SO, WHO ARE THE OTHER WOMEN?

You won’t all have the same life.

Some will be mothers. Some won’t.

Some will lead teams, businesses or families.

Some will be rebuilding something.

Others might have a good life and simply be wondering what they want next.

WHAT CONNECTS YOU

What you’ll have in common isn’t a demographic.

It’s a desire to live with more intention, self-trust and connection, and to have good women beside you while you do it.

There’s no one way to belong.

You can:

01

Talk when you want to talk.

02

Ask for perspective.

03

Share something you’re proud of.

04

Say you’re struggling.

05

Encourage another woman.

06

Go completely off topic.

07

Or quietly read for a while.

There’ll be depth. And laughter. Probably swearing. And conversations none of us expected to be having.

"I was terrified this would feel like another thing on my to-do list. Instead, the Sunday audio letters became the most nourishing 15 minutes of my entire week. It feels like someone finally turned on a warm lamp in a dark room."

WITNESS HER

Made, said, changed, tried or chosen something that matters to you? If you want to, bring it back and let us celebrate it with you.

YOU PROBABLY DON’T NEED MORE INFORMATION.

You've probably read some of the books. Listened to the podcasts. Saved the posts. Maybe you've journalled about boundaries, confidence, people-pleasing, or self-love. Maybe you already know you're supposed to trust yourself more.

Knowing isn't always the problem.

You can understand boundaries and still say yes when you mean no. You can understand people-pleasing and still spend three days worrying someone is upset with you. You can know you need more joy and still put yourself last when Saturday rolls around.

HER OWN isn't about collecting more things you know. It's about creating somewhere to practise what you know. To notice yourself in real time. Try something differently. Come back and talk about what happened. Be reminded when you forget.

"And eventually notice: 'I’m doing this differently now.'"

THE GENECIS

I created what I was craving too.

I told you earlier that HER OWN grew from something personal.

This is where it began.

My Dad used to ask me a question.

In my early adult years, he’d wonder aloud what had happened to the little redheaded girl who was so full of life.

I didn’t like it when he’d say it.

Because what I heard was:

“What’s wrong with this version of me?”

I was working, capable and getting on with life.

But I did feel lost.

I didn’t feel quite like myself.

I’m not sure I recognised that clearly at the time.

Years later, my Mum said something remarkably similar:

“I don’t know where she went. I just looked up one day and she wasn’t there anymore.”

Two generations.

The same question.

Where did she go?

I’ve come to think perhaps we don’t disappear at all.

We adapt.

To relationships. Motherhood. Work. Expectations. Heartbreak. Success. The need to belong.

Some of those adaptations serve us beautifully.

Some don’t.

And somewhere in my own rebuilding after my marriage ended, the question stopped being:

How do I get the old me back?

and became:

What is mine and who am I choosing to be now?

I didn’t need to excavate some perfect “authentic self” untouched by life.

I needed to understand what I’d inherited. What I’d learned. What I’d outgrown. What I wanted to keep. What I’d been accommodating.

And what I chose now.

That journey became The Best Friend Project.

And HER OWN grew around it because I knew I didn’t want women doing this work alone.

Sometimes strength looks like carrying what needs carrying.

And sometimes strength looks like having somewhere to put some of it down.

CREDENTIALS & LINEAGE

A Little More About Who’s Holding the Space

I’m Rebecca - facilitator, coach and author of The Princess Saves Herself.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked across leadership, learning, organisational development and human behaviour. At the heart of that work has always been the same fascination: Why do we do what we do and what helps us understand ourselves and each other better?

20+ years in learning, leadership & human development · Neuroscience in Leadership Practitioner · Emotional Intelligence & Behavioural profiling · Author · Facilitator & coach · Counselling studies

The qualifications matter. But what matters just as much to me is how a space feels. I want HER OWN to feel like somewhere you can tell the truth. Somewhere intelligent conversations and very human ones can happen in the same room.

CLARITY

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time will I need?

There isn’t a required amount.

A new Best Friend Project module is released each month, but that’s a rhythm, not a deadline.

Most teaching can be listened to as well as watched, and you can return to the reflections whenever you have space.

If the next module arrives and you’re still sitting with the last one, nothing has gone wrong.

Live gatherings are optional.

HER OWN is designed to add depth and connection to your life, not become another demand on it.

What is the community actually like?

HER OWN lives on Circle, a dedicated private community platform, not Facebook.

I’ll be actively present, particularly with our founding group.

Start a conversation. Ask for perspective. Share something you’re navigating. Respond to another woman. Or quietly read.

There is no participation quota.

Why HER OWN rather than another book, course or podcast?

Because information isn’t the whole experience.

HER OWN gives you somewhere to practise what you’re learning, through conversation, community, gatherings and the ordinary decisions of your actual life.

You aren’t simply learning about trusting yourself. You’re practising becoming someone you trust.

Why join HER OWN rather than just do The Best Friend Project?

Because The Best Friend Project isn’t the whole HER OWN experience.

The Best Friend Project is the journey. HER OWN is the place you keep living it.

The Best Friend Project gives you the structured foundation.

HER OWN gives you the women, conversations, gatherings, tools and ongoing LIVE IT. LEAD IT. experience around it.

Does everyone start The Best Friend Project together?

No.

HER OWN is evergreen, so women will naturally be at different places in the journey.

And I actually like that.

HER OWN Gatherings aren’t “Module Four Discussion Night.”

They’re conversations about real life.

Sometimes the woman six months ahead of you will have exactly the wisdom you need.

Sometimes you’ll have hers.

What happens when I finish The Best Friend Project?

HER OWN doesn’t finish.

The Best Friend Project gives you the foundation across your first year.

HER OWN is where you continue to live it through LIVE IT. LEAD IT., the community, gatherings and whatever you’re navigating next.

What timezone are the live gatherings in?

I’m based in Australia, but gathering times will be shaped around where our members actually live.

If one time can’t reasonably include everyone, I’ll offer two.

Do I have to attend live?

No.

Missing a gathering won’t mean missing the HER OWN experience.

Final recording/access arrangements will be confirmed before launch.

Do I have to share personal things?

No.

Talk when you want to. Ask a question. Share a win. Encourage another woman. Or quietly listen.

You don’t have to perform vulnerability to belong.

What is Witness Her?

A chance to let other women celebrate something that matters to you.

Something you made, said, changed, tried or chose.

Bring it back if you want to.

Or don’t.

Entirely optional. Always.

Is HER OWN therapy?

No.

HER OWN is a personal-development, learning and community experience, not therapy or mental-health treatment.

I’m not a leader at work. Is this still for me?

Absolutely.

Leading your own life doesn’t require a job title.

Can I cancel?

Yes.

HER OWN is a monthly membership. Cancel before your next billing date.

If you leave as a Founding Member and later return, your original A$49 founding rate won’t automatically be available.

THE THRESHOLD

Maybe you haven't lost yourself.

Maybe you’ve simply been waiting for a quiet, honorable place to put down everything you were never meant to carry alone.

Founding Membership • A$49/month • Opening November 2026
